Hope for cleaner air
Just a few short miles from MOM’s doorstep, Vermont Senator Jeffords introduced the Global Warming Pollution Reduction Act earlier today. The bill would require the nation to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to 80% of 1990 emissions by 2050. This decrease is aimed at both vehicles and industrial plants. Unfortunately, the bill doesn’t suggest any strategies to accomplish this, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction…. read more here.
